Civic cup Silverstone report Jumping straight into qualifying with no testing I had to try and find the limit in a swift manor which I struggled with especially with a red flag during the session as well, qualified p16 for the 1st and 3rd races 1.2 seconds off pole. Race one my aim was to just finish as race 2 was only an hour and a half after, and I did just that coming home p16 after some great battles during the race. Race 2 was a bit more lively being a reverse grid race allowed me to gain a few positions off the start, there was soon a safety car and on the restart I was trying my hardest to keep one of the championship challengers at bay to help my teammates and I did this for a lap or so and due to some bad luck for some people and really close racing I came across the line in p11 with the 3rd fastest lap of the race. Race 3 starting p16 I got a mega start gaining a Handful of positions and from then on it was a really good race filled with clean battles especially on the edge of the top 10 and after a really good battle with one of my teammates Alex I came across the line in p10 well happy with that one, even holding the fastest lap for the earlier part of the race as well. I’d like to thank all of the members of @proalloysracing for giving me a capable and reliable car through the day. And also to all of the people who came to support me at the track and on the live stream too. And finally to all my sponsors and members of club #28 for the continued support.
